What happens behind the live table
Live Casino Kenya explains live dealer casino games for adults in Kenya: how a wheel in a studio reaches your phone, what each bet pays and what the house keeps, how the cards and wheels are checked, and which rules of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 and the 2026 Regulations protect you. Facts only, cited to the Act, the Regulations and the providers' own pages. No rankings, no bonuses, no casino links.

What you will not find here
- Rankings
- No lists of best casinos, no scores, no stars. The site does not rank operators, and gambling may not be advertised on any medium without the Authority's approval (Gambling Control Act, 2025, s.87(1)).
- Bonuses
- No bonus amounts, no promo codes, no welcome offers. The Advertising Regulations bar calls to action and inducements in gambling adverts (L.N. 114 r.9(a)), and this site is not an advert.
- Operator links
- No hyperlinks to casinos and no affiliate agreements. Where an operator has to be named, it is named as plain text, as the regulator lists it.
- Systems
- No betting systems and no promises. House edge is arithmetic; the pages show it rather than ways around it.
Who this is for, and who is behind it
Live Casino Kenya is written for adults in Kenya, eighteen and over, who already sit at live tables or are deciding whether to. It assumes you can read a payout line but may never have seen one derived. It is not the regulator, not a casino and not a review site, and nothing here is legal advice.
The publisher's legal name, its contact channel and the name of a human reviewer are not published yet. The about page says so plainly, the editorial policy explains how each page is drafted with AI tools and checked against primary sources before publication, and the money page explains why the site earns nothing and links to no operator.
Questions people ask first
Is live casino legal in Kenya?
Online casino gambling is one of the three online licence types under the Gambling Control Act, 2025 (s.67(1)), so an operator offering live tables to players in Kenya needs an online casino licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority and must display it on the platform (s.36(3)). Operating gambling without a valid licence is an offence (s.98), and a foreign-based operator offering online gambling in Kenya without a licence faces penalties under s.79(3).
How old do I have to be?
An operator must require proof of age of majority before registering a player (s.72(3)) and again before paying a prize (s.70(6)). The 2026 Conduct of Gambling Operations Regulations treat persons under eighteen as minors who must be kept out of gambling (L.N. 112 r.92(1)(c)) and require identity, location and age checks before an account is activated and a first deposit is taken (r.82(1)-(2)).
Are live dealer games fair?
A live table uses a physical wheel, physical cards and several cameras rather than a random number generator, so the question becomes who checks the studio. Providers publish their own licences: Evolution's licences page lists supplier licences in Malta, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man and other jurisdictions, and Kenya is not among them; Pragmatic Play's live casino page cites UK and Malta licences for its Bucharest studio. In Kenya the Conduct Regulations require random number generators for games of chance to be certified and the theoretical return to player to be disclosed to the Authority (L.N. 112 r.45(2), (4)). The fairness guides go through what each of these checks does and does not cover.
What does the house keep at a live table?
It depends on the game and the bet. European roulette keeps 2.70% of every standard bet over time (one zero in 37 pockets); American roulette 5.26% (two zeros in 38). In baccarat the banker bet carries about 1.06% after its 5% commission and the tie bet about 14.36% at 8:1, derived from the standard eight-deck frequencies. In blackjack the clearest difference is the payout on a natural: 3:2 returns KES 150 profit on a KES 100 bet, 6:5 returns KES 120. Every figure is derived on the table rules page.
What limits can I set, and how do I stop?
A licensee must give you real-time tools: daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, loss, session and expenditure limits, reality-check pop-ups and a self-exclusion option of at least 24 hours linked to the national register (L.N. 112 r.84(1)-(2)). Self-exclusion under the Act is a voluntary agreement covering all gambling including online (s.115(1)); you can also apply to the Authority on Form 1 for six months, one year, two years or indefinitely (L.N. 112 r.70 and Form 1). The toll-free line shown on the regulator's website is 0800-723-770. See help, limits and self-exclusion.
